Apple Cake
Apple cake is a family favorite!
2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups peeled and sliced apples (we like using Stayman, Gold Rush, and Pink Lady!)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Cream together sugar and vegetable oil. Add beaten eggs.
Mix in all remaining ingredients, saving apples and nuts for last. Spoon batter into greased and floured 9” x 13” pan.
Bake at 350°F for 40-50 minutes.
Serves with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream!
